Allegiance to the King

Building a community of those allegiant to the King, Jesus Christ

Welcome to the A2K homepage!

Welcome to Allegiance to the King (A2K). We are a ministry of Christians sold out in allegiance to King Jesus, the Son of God who died for the sins of the world, rose from the dead, and is now exalted to the right hand of God. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he instructed his followers to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to observe all of his commandments. Allegiance to the King exists to create communities that are committed in faithfulness to the teachings of Jesus Christ. We hope that we can bless you and encourage you with the resources on this site.

Allegiance to the King is deeply committed to the truths of Scripture:

The Lord our God is one

Jesus Christ taught that God is one person (Mark 12:29)–the Father, who is the only true God (John 17:3). Jesus also said that the Father is greater than he is (John 14:28), being the God of Jesus (John 20:17).

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah

Jesus taught that he was the Son of God (John 10:36), the coming judge and king of God’s kingdom (Matt 25:31). He summoned his followers to an allegiant faith in light of the coming kingdom of God (Mark 1:15).

The Kingdom of God

Jesus also taught about the kingdom of God–the ‘redemptive reign of God’ that was inaugurated during Jesus’ earthly ministry and will be fully consummated with his return to earth. The dead will be raised (John 5:28-29) and the righteous will inherit the kingdom at that time (Matt 25:31-34).
